Cooking demonstrations, fashion shows, wine tasting, decorating advice, entertainment, shopping – what more could a woman want? Here’s a sampling of the many features and special events you’ll find at the Upstate Women’s Show:

  • The Corley Entertainment Stage, featuring fashion shows, comedy acts, music and dance
  • The BI-LO Cooking Stage, spotlighting local chefs from some of the Upstate’s premier restaurants
  • The Writer’s Area, with book signings by local authors and chefs
  • Fashion shows plus a “One-Minute Photo Shoot,” where free photos of attendees will be taken
  • Corley Girl's Night Out where you can increase your home improvement knowledge with workshops by Corley’s trained technicians about plumbing, electrical and air conditioning basics
  • Performances by the Carolina Ballet Theatre, comediennes Dot and Norma Jean of Cafe & Then Some,  The Belltower Boys from Furman University, and many others
  • Home Depot’s “Do It Yourself” home improvement clinics
  • WHAM Auction’s appraisals of attendees’ treasures and live charity auction of antiques, art, glassware and gift baskets for the show’s beneficiaries
  • A “Lift Your Spirits” area with food and wine tastings
  • McDonald’s I’m Lovin’ It “Go Active” area with games and interactive learning activities for kids
  • Canstruction Contest, where local organizations build sculptures from cans of food to be donated to Harvest Hope Food Bank
  • AC Moore’s “Craft Make & Take,” an arts and crafts workshop
  • My Girlfriend’s Closet, a boutique of gently used clothing and accessories that will be sold to benefit Safe Harbor
  • Man Cave, providing a male haven and entertainment for the guys
